Nancy was a Canadian pharmacist and friend who has been the backbone of the Life Long Learning in Pharmacy International Committee. She hosted the 2005 LLLP conference in Saskatoon Canada and has led the international committee for 25 years. Nancy’s most recent practice was in community pharmacy, but she worked in several leadership roles including in regulation as Assistant Registrar for the Saskatchewan pharmacy regulator and in education as the Executive Director of the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP). Her passion for continuing education and life long learning continued throughout her career.
We remember Nancy as a vibrant, humble and kind colleague who gave of herself to her family, friends and profession in a selfless way. She was a strong, hard-working leader who always kept us on track, with a wicked sense of humour. She was so caring and warm and was indeed “Mrs LLLP”. It is hard to imagine LLLP without her leadership.
